The Robsham Theater Arts Center comprises several major event venues and rehearsal spaces that can accommodate a variety of performances, events, and other functions. These venues include the Robsham Main Stage, the Bonn Studio Theater, the Venues at 300 Hammond Pond Parkway, and the Brighton Dance Studios.

The Robsham Main Stage聽is Boston College's premier event space, with professional lighting and sound systems, custom draperies and backdrops, and its own Box Office.

Located on Boston College鈥檚 lower campus, the Robsham Main Stage is a large proscenium-style theater that is the ideal place for mid- to large-size performances. The Robsham Main Stage has hosted a variety of dance, music, and theater performances, as well as classes, lectures, movies, and comedians.

Past individuals who have presented or performed on the Robsham Main Stage include: Bob Hope, Madeleine Albright, Kal Penn, George Takei, Tom Brokaw, Ken Burns, Don Henley, David McCollough, Cardinal O鈥橫alley, Coretta Scott King (wife of Martin Luther King Jr.), President Benigno Aquino (of the Philippines), Livingston Taylor, Iron and Wine and Ellis Paul. Recent theatrical runs held in the theater include 鈥淭he Tempest,鈥 鈥淐arousel,鈥 鈥淏ig Love,鈥 鈥淭rojan Women,鈥 and 鈥淎 Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.鈥澛 聽

Robsham also plays host to a diverse array of student cultural events, academic lectures, and other high-level events such as convocation, commencement ceremonies, and homecoming activities.

The capacity of Robsham Main Stage is 567, which includes wheelchair and wheelchair companion spaces as well as limited mobility seats located throughout the venue. The theater is also equipped with wireless hearing assistance devices that are available from the House Manager/Box Office upon request.

The Bonn Studio Theater, located in the Robsham Theater Arts Center on Boston College鈥檚 lower campus, is a black box theater, ideal for smaller-scale productions, student talent shows and Theatre Department workshops. Like the Robsham Main Stage, it鈥檚 equipped with a state-of-the-art theatrical light and sound system. The Bonn Studio Theater also serves as a laboratory for dance classes.

Past performances hosted in the Bonn Studio Theater include theatrical productions like 鈥淥ne Flea Spare,鈥 鈥淗onor, Shame and Violence: A Shakespeare Anthology Project,鈥 and 鈥淏ug.鈥

As there isn鈥檛 fixed seating in this venue, the number of seats available for performances in the Bonn Studio varies from show to show. Opened in 2007, the Brighton Dance Studios (BDS) are a dance facility dedicated serving student dance troupes, performance clubs and other dance-related organizations overseen by the Division of Student Affairs. Located at 2115 Commonwealth Avenue on Boston College鈥檚 Brighton Campus, the Brighton Dance Studios are less than a ten-minute walk from the Robsham Theater Arts Center.

Dedicated to providing a safe, suitable space for students to train in the art of dance and movement, the Brighton Dance Studios are composed of three rooms; the largest of which is a basketball court-sized dance space equipped with mirrors, a sound system, ballet barres and a coat room.

The Brighton Dance Studios also support Boston College鈥檚 Theatre Department, hosting academic dance classes, dance rehearsals and movement-related programs.

Boston College鈥檚 300 Hammond Parkway (300 HPP) property features multiple spaces suitable for events or rehearsals.聽

For large events, there is the 300 HPP Auditorium which can seat up to 748 patrons. This is the room with the聽largest聽capacity of the RTAC inventory. The Multi-Purpose Room is a large ballroom-like room, featuring a small proscenium stage at one end that can seat roughly 479聽 theater-style. The 300 HPP Outdoor Quad is a large outdoor event space. The 300HPP Hexagon Room is a small hexagon-shaped meeting room/rehearsal area, which can also be used as a conference space or green room.聽
