Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿ÚPDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿Ú departments. The purpose of the Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿ÚPDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿Ú postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿Ú

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿Ú community

To provide liaison between Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿Ú postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿ÚPDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿ÚPDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.

The Èȵ㱬ÁÏÈë¿ÚPDA is a member of local and national postdoctoral organizations, which provide additional resources and opportunities for networking and professional development.
