Now that you have been admitted to the Boston College Woods College of Advancing Studies, the admissions office requires that you submit certain official documents. Below you will find further details on how to submit these required documents.听First, please read the following important information concerning the submission of official documents:
Transcripts and test scores are only deemed official if they come directly to our office from the conferring institution and testing agency. Any documents that you, the applicant, uploaded into the application system are not official. Similarly, documents that are delivered to our office in envelopes opened by the applicant are not official. Even if the institution sent or emailed you an official document, once you, the applicant, has opened the envelope or forwarded the email to us, it is no longer considered an official document for our purposes.
We will accept either electronic or paper versions of official documents. If they are being sent via email from the institution, please be sure they are sent to wcasadm@bc.edu. If they will be sent via postal mail, please be sure to use the following address:

Following these steps will ensure that your document is not accidentally sent to one of the seven other admissions offices at Boston College, from which it is unlikely to be retrieved.
Newly admitted students are invited to join an Orientation session to meet academic advisors, faculty, and staff.听 This meeting will allow you to ask questions before the semester begins and hear more about all of the wonderful opportunities for you as a Woods College student at Boston College.
Orientations will be held the week before the first day of classes:
In August, for the Fall semester
In January, for the Spring semester听
New students will receive the invitation by email.
It is imperative that you schedule a time to meet with your academic advisor. Appointments are available Monday-Friday.
